What To Expect When Working With Our Interior Team

The Step-by-Step Process Of A Remodeling Project

Phone Consultation



At TrueSon, we know that a company’s reputation and budget are two important factors in determining who you will do your project with. We are glad you found us and are considering us as a reputable company to work with. We specialize in whole-house remodels and home additions but we are also Columbia, Missouri’s go-to kitchen, bath, and bedroom remodeling construction company. To make this as hassle free as possible, we are offering a free phone consultation to help determine if we are a good fit for you! We want the opportunity to discuss your project with you, answer your questions, and this conversation will allow us to provide you with a rough quote, when possible. Our quote will be based on our combined experience in remodeling and in most cases will help us determine if we are the right fit for you.

Onsite Consultation



Once we’ve had the opportunity to discuss your project and you approve the rough estimate, we will schedule an in-home visit with you. During the site visit, we will dive into your vision, take measurements, and develop a preliminary scope of work so we can start making plans. We want you to keep your dream vision in place while we come up with the possibilities and options, we think will best fit your vision. Once we have determined the best options, you will be in a better place to make a decision based on your vision and budget. At TrueSon Exteriors | Interiors, we understand that certain projects require some discovery work that could involve demo or hiring outside entities. Any fees for these items will be provided for your approval before proceeding.

Select/Finalize Products and Finishes



The next step is an arranged meeting between you and our Interior Design Consultant! This step is fun for a lot of reasons, but this is where we really start defining the details of your vision. Our Interior Design Consultant will assist you as you determine what finishes suit you and your project best. We’ll help you with your selections of countertops, cabinets, lighting, flooring, tile, fixtures, etc. so we can help you personalize your style! Once the entire scope of work has been determined and your product choices confirmed, we will refine your project estimate and review with you.

Product Ordering & Scheduling



When you are ready to move forward with your project, you will sign our updated quote and contract. Once signed, our Contractors will begin ordering the materials needed to complete your project. Once the material availability date is confirmed, we will consult with you to determine the best start date along with an anticipated project duration, so you can get an idea of what to expect.

Construction



During this phase, you will be assigned a project leader who will serve as your day-to-day contact throughout your project. Your project leader will be available to you via site visits, email, phone and text. We want you to feel confident that your project is in great hands!

Completion



This is the finish line! We’ll make sure we’ve thoroughly cleaned and inspected our work and we’ll walk the space with you to answer any final questions you may have. This is our favorite part!
